About

The Parkway Artists' Guild was formed in 1998 to promote fine art in the Niagara region. Membership is open to all adults interested in art. We have a programme of art demonstrations and workshops by members or guest artists and social events for the Guild throughout the year. Our members volunteer to organize and run all our activities and events and art exhibitions for its members.

Except when we have our art shows, the Guild meets on the third Saturday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to noon usually in the classroom of The School of Horticulture (2565 Niagara Parkway), the attractive modern building near the street in The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, with the Butterfly Conservatory behind. (see map in Contact page.) The entrance that we use is the rear single door beside the ramp.

For participation in our art shows and retail shops, new members' art must be juried to ensure high artistic quality. Creative and original art forms are welcome, including fine art, fine craft (to the standard of Ontario Crafts), fine art photography, fine digital art, etc.

In addition to our annual "Art in the Gardens" shows and other events, please look for our site-specific artwork, painted in Niagara by our members, for sale in select Niagara Parks shops below. For locations of these shops, please visit www.niagaraparks.com.
