My work is most often inspired by remote landscapes, structural or natural, urban landscapes and the movement of people. I'm particularly fond of plein air. However, any subject matter is fair play and I enjoy using different mediums to various effects, including acrylic, water colour, pastel, ink and occasionally oils (my first love). I am more moved by the mood of a piece than an exact rendition and enjoy the expression of texture, shape, colour, and plays of light and sound.
