He found joy and fellowship in many community groups, including the Niagara Men's Chorus, Niagara Police Chorus, The Reeds Harmonica Band, Parkway Artist Group, The Fort Erie Arts Council, #6 RAF Dunnville, The Beachcombers of Ridgeway Dart League, and his Monday Art group at the Fort Erie Lions Senior Centre.
