A one day event took place at the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture. The NPC announced the creation of a new event,"Rooted": celebrating the gardens, showcasing the natural, cultural and culinary profile of the Niagara Region. The Parkway Artists' Guild along with the Garden Club of Niagara combined efforts to bring to the public a themed exhibition of original fine art and floral arrangements. Miniature floral arrangements had centre stage. The still life floral arrangements were arranged in themes to compliment art work. It was the most fragrant art exhibit ever.
