At 9:15 our bus departed to Hamilton to visit the AGH. We had a docent lead tour at the Gallery, lunch and then travelled to Curry's Art Store before our return home. We saw Ken Danby's work. He was a famous Canadian artist. He painted the icons of the music industry, the sports world and Canadian political figures. For the first time, more than 70 paintings were collected from public and private collections. Also at this time, photographer Yari Dojc, a Canadian photographer captured images when he revisited his family roots, which stood still since 1942. Another surprise was the full sized Volkswagon bus, a permanent sculpture instalationby Kim Adams. Our trip to Curry's included a tour of the store, featuring new products from the last few years.
