Charles Hunter made a guest appearance to inform members about "Rooted in the Garden", an event to be held in September. Audrey Barclay was awarded first prize for her scratchboard painting done after attending the workshop conducted by Tony Smith. Our guest artist was David Lidbetter, a working artist from Winsor & Newton. He talked about traditional oil paint, water soluble oil paint, oil bars and all the additives to make our oil painting more exciting. We also managed to fit in the registration for the summer shows and the Linda Hankin full day workshop in June.
