Painting on Tissue Paper with Watercolour (or any other water based medium)
We will be working with watercolours and tissue glued on paper. If you have any watercolour paintings that you would like to re-work, those may be used (or use the reverse side). This will be a fun and creative workshop that anyone can do. You may follow me as I do a demo, or work on your own image.
What to bring
Tissue paper (white or coloured), watercolour paints or acrylic water based paintings, gloves, plastic sheet, hairdryer, old paint brushes.
About the Artist
Inspired by the beauty of scenery she has enjoyed locally and during her travels, Anne Reimer's paintings display her remarkable sense of colour and her love and understanding of nature. Her works, executed in oils, watercolours, and mixed media, often capture beautiful moments in her garden as well as charming countryside barns and mills. Over the past thirty years, Anne has exhibited in many shows and galleries and she continues to spend many happy hours in her home studio painting for exhibitions, fulfilling commissions, and teaching classes. She conducts classes at both the Riverbrink Art Museum and the Niagara Pumphouse Art Centre and her work adorns homes in Canada, The United States, and many other countries. Anne's love for art, evident in each of her works, grows with every painting.
