Our June session which will be an acrylic painting session with Val Huibers at the Butterfly Conservatory. This will be an en plein air session and the subject will be the magnificent Dawn Redwood tree located along the path behind the School of Horticulture classroom. Val regularly paints trees and her paintings adorn several homes in Niagara and abroad. Val will share her techniques and hopefully demystify painting trees for those wanting to paint this subject matter. As this will be an outdoors session, a rain date of Wednesday, June 22nd 1:00 - 4:00 is planned as an alternate. Confirmation of the date will be given closer to the date.
