About the Artist… Karen Kozarevich
St. Catharines artist, Karen Kozarevich, has been painting since 1977, is a past member of Mississauga Visual Arts and a current member of the Niagara Parkway Artists Guild.
After retiring as an IT security professional in the corporate world, Karen began pursuing art in earnest, and has been actively exhibiting and selling her art in the Niagara region, in retail shops, PAG art shows, and through private commissions.

In 2017, she won the 'Best in Show' award for her painting, 'John's Home – Historic McFarland House, NOTL' chosen by a juror, commemorating Canada 150 celebrations in the Niagara Parks 'Rooted in the Garden' show.
Known for detailed realism in her art works, Karen originally grew up in Montreal and moved to Toronto in the late 70's. Her interest in art started in grade school and progressed to oil painting when she studied with an art teacher in Montreal. Having since studied with a known art teacher in Mississauga, Visual Arts Mississauga, and the Niagara Parkway Artists Guild, Karen's current passion is acrylic painting of scenery and wildlife.

The beauty in the world constantly excites her and inspires new creations.
