Events - David Low......Members Only Morning Workshop

While photography is often focused on competitions, evaluations and scoring well with judges, there are parallels to the thought processes that potential art buyers are going through when they are considering the selection of art.
Are there common tips in applying to juried shows? What are some of the most successful works of photographic art? Let's discuss things photography can do that painting cannot as well as the liberties that an artist has that a photographer envies. This workshop will include an exploration of commercially viable works of art versus those that we prepare for enjoying ourselves. Questions to consider: What is art? How should we price art? We’ll try to do practical tips as well, but the session will not be overly technical and we won’t focus on the do’s and don’ts of camera gear.
