Events - Paint and Sell

We are looking forward to our August Paint and Sell at the Niagara Glen. Please come early as the Glen often gets very busy and morning temperatures are usually more paint and painter friendly.

Parking is metered only so you will need to pay for parking unless you have the Niagara Parks Pass displayed. Please bring a mask and it is mandatory to wear it when going into the shop and/or washroom.

Only members with barcodes may sell, though all members may paint en plein air in the park. When selling artwork, the member accompanies the purchaser to pay inside the shop, so NPC gets their commission [25%]. You may bring in art to display on a small table and paint anything you like although site-specific [nature and the Niagara River] is preferred and will likely be more desirable to people attending the Glen. We will set up near the building where there is shade and easy access to the washrooms and building. We will be placing our art show and sale signs to attract visitors and the NPC will be adding the event to their network.

We are looking forward to a very successful Paint & Sell day. Hope to see many of you there:)

Additional note:

The Parks has also noted that the shop and washrooms open at 10:00. We can still arrive earlier however all artists are asked to pop in quickly and fill out a covid questionnaire at 10:00.
