Artist Bio and Artist Statement
Looking for tips to compose an intriguing artist bio and statement for your art application or social media post?
To provide our members with the greatest opportunity of success in creating or updating your artist bio and artist statement and offering flexible access on this important topic, we have two wonderful opportunities planned – one in person and one via Zoom. Members are encouraged to attend one or both of these sessions.

As a past gallery coordinator, Mandy Tam-Luk had the privilege to present local artists in solo exhibits, and in turn gained an appreciation for what inspired them to create.
In her upcoming interactive 'Artist Bio and Statement Workshop', Mandy endeavours to pass on ideas to get your creative juices flowing. During the workshop, actual examples with exercises will be provided. You are also encouraged to bring personal art photos to write your own tailored artist bio and artist statement.
If time allows, both today and tomorrow's guest speakers will provide information on preparing a CV.
