As a cancer survivor, Catherine finds inspiration in the Northern Ontario landscape. An experienced art, math and science teacher, Catherine acted as a lead painter for the North Bay Heritage Carousel. The City of North Bay owns one of her paintings and another was used to represent the 2008 conference of the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities hosted by Roberta Bondar. You will find Catherine's work in collections as far as Sweden, Germany, and England as well as across Canada and the United States.
Catherine moved to Niagara in 2011 and she is currently enjoying the people and opportunities she is discovering here. Look for Catherine's work in retail spaces in Kingston, Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. As part of the Parkway Artist Guild, her work is displayed in retail shops along the beautiful Niagara Parkway. Recent shows include the juried Pelham Arts Festival, TAG Gallery in St. Catharines, and Art to Heart in Thorold.
